I had the honor of being invited to our Pen Women headquarters at the Pen Arts Building in Washington, D.C., to make a presentation on my book, Quack, Quack, I want My Feather's Back. I had recently made a presentation to a class of 3rd graders. I taught them how to write and illustrate their own book. I brought their books to share at the event.

This was the best adventure I have ever had. With pen woman illustrator, Carol Brolin, I made a presentation to a class of 3rd graders on how to write their own books. Carol did samples of illustrations and I read to them from Quak, Quak, I Want My Feathers Back, a book I authored, and Carol Illustrated. The children's books were outstanding.
