No two rocks are the same and these are just some of my painted rocks. Why do I paint rocks? Because painting is therapeutic for me. I can relax and spend hours painting. Also, they make me smile. On a walk around my neighborhood, I saw a painted rock. It made me smile and lifted my spirits. I was down that day, not feeling very well and the rock gave me some joy. So, I went to YouTube to find out how to paint a rock. That's when I discovered the "Kindness Project." I can understand why it is named that. It is so kind to give someone a little bit of joy, kindness and a smile with a hand painted rock. I have since placed 15 painted rocks around my neighborhood just in case they might give someone a positive feeling or maybe a smile. The garden gnomes are the most popular with friends and family.
I purchase my rocks at the local Rockery. I pick out the size I want. My husband helps me. We put the bag on a cart to get them to the car and then to the backyard. Extremely heavy.
I am so happy someone placed a painted rock where I could see it. I am so happy to have this new artistic outlet in my life. Thank you to the person who left the rock in my neighborhood for me to see.

Each garden gnome is hand painted in acrylic and is different. No two are the same.
